Benedict C. Di Duca, a former criminal prosecutor, retired after 23 successful years in the construction industry and entered the practice of law. Mr. Di Duca’s construction company completed commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential construction projects from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Oregon and Nevada borders, including several notable historic renovations and restorations. Mr. Di Duca’s construction company also engaged in underground construction and construction blasting.

As the President and Chief Executive Officer of his construction company, he was responsible for the management of general business affairs, contract preparation and negotiation, critical path scheduling and project expedition, and the identification and calculation of change orders and claims, personally preparing all claims involving owner interference, construction delays (using the critical path method scheduling), and the interpretation of construction plans and specifications.

Mr. Di Duca’s experience in business and the construction industry, when coupled with his legal and trial experience, is the key to the practical and cost-efficient representation.
