JENNIFER HAFFNER WAUGH
Jennifer Haffner Waugh is an associate attorney with Di Duca Stearns, PC and is presently assigned to the business and construction litigation department.
Ms. Haffner Waugh earned her Juris Doctor at the University of California, Davis, School of Law and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University. While attending UC Davis, Ms. Haffner Waugh participated in two clinical programs, the Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic and the Civil Rights Clinic. She was also a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. In 2004, Ms. Haffner Waugh was admitted to practice law in California and she is an active member of the California Bar Association and the Butte County Bar Association.
Before joining Di Duca Stearns, PC, Ms. Haffner Waugh was employed as a staff attorney with Legal Services of Northern California where she represented individual clients in matters involving both private and publicly supported housing. Ms. Haffner Waugh also engaged in matters involving impact housing advocacy to enforce decent housing standards and to facilitate the development of affordable homes and units within Tehama, Glenn, Butte, and Plumas Counties. In addition to her housing advocacy, Ms. Haffner Waugh represented low-income seniors in Social Security, Medicare, and Medi-Cal matters including representation at Social Security Administrative Hearings.
Ms. Haffner Waugh has traveled extensively and is fluent in the Spanish language. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Haffner Waugh served for two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala where she worked with women’s groups participating in a micro-finance program.
